The See Hoy Chan Sdn. Berhad Group ventured into property development through Paramount Malaysia, which was incorporated in the early 60's. This was a pioneer property developer in Petaling Jaya with its maiden project aptly named Paramount Garden. The "Paramount" meaning supreme in English and in the Chinese context "A Garden of Hundred Happiness".

Paramount Garden, Taman Paramount and Taman Bahagia includes in total 800 residential and commercial units. These developments provided the nucleus for what is now known as Petaling Jaya, the satellite city and industrial area of Kuala Lumpur. It was a haven for the young nation's workforce to live and work, contributing much to the present modern Malaysia.
